created illustrations, signage installation, and visual design for the 15th anniversary of the Bisley Community Composting Scheme (BCCS), followed by the poster and invitation design for its 21st anniversary celebrations.

Founded in 2005, the Bisley Community Composting Scheme is the longest-running community composting initiative in Gloucestershire. Based at the Bisley Chestergate Allotments and Community Orchard on Stroud Road, the volunteer-led project transforms locally collected garden waste into nutrient-rich compost for residents, helping to improve soil health while reducing landfill waste and transport-related carbon emissions.

The scheme is recognised for its commitment to sustainability, circular resource management, and community involvement, demonstrating how local composting can support biodiversity, reduce environmental impact, and strengthen connections between people and place.

This project combined illustration, environmental graphic design, and signage to celebrate BCCS’s contribution to sustainable living in Gloucestershire while creating engaging printed and installed materials for the local community.
